Then... it was time for mill madness. Two days, two different and someway even similar locations. Let's start with first one. While photographing there, some older local gentleman did came to see what I were doing. I did told and of course I did also ask about this mill's history. Working there did end at half of the '60s... which was small surprise for me. Yeah, it is in bad condition but comparing to those decades alone... it must be built pretty damned well.

Once Upon a Time:

Mill Might be Dead... but Water Still Flows:

Electricity in the Making:

We Got the Power:

Magnificent Machine:

Light Above:

Such a Sunny Day:

Tragic Heights:

At the Top:

Man With the Box:

And Then There Was a Shape:

Of course on mill did me want to get another water powered place... to that very small one which is hidden amazingly well in far away countryside... and which is for me probably that place what comes to power mills. At this time I did also understand that generator is made by Swedish company, Asea, and they still have svastika in their logo. They did end use of that at 1933, so this must be from before that year.

Power Mill from Another Time:

Tunnel Vision:

With Morning Light:

Finnish Company That Still Exist:

Long Ago (Symbols and Signs):

And Then Years Did Go By Like Water in the Stream:

Time Machine:

Rust:

Hanging End:

Round and Round (No More):

Time of Details:

There Must Be Beauty in Everything:

Everlasting Moment:

In Control, Out of Control:

The End:

-----

And then to last one, which is of course off-topic-bonus-shot which comes from same morning than that other off-topic-bonus-picture few weeks ago. Magical morning, when light did find forest:

Happy weekend!

This has such a cool vibe. I feel like a Neofolk/Martial Industrial music video should be shot here.

Oh WH. I think you out did yourself on this set. Lovely shots one and all. The first one really grabs your attention, and has all the makings of a beautiful photograph with the winding road, the old mill, and the bridge..so very cool! Man With the Box is In Control, Out of Control, and oh my, Everlasting Moment is so appealing and possibly my favorite.
Congrats on the new places! So VERY NICE!

Yeah, I agree! Those locations would work pretty well with that kind of music. Thank you very much. ^^

Bloody hell, after these 3 pints and 2 absinthe shots it seems that I'm getting speechless. Should I be scared? Anyway, this feels bit like cheating because many of these shots are retakes; I remember that I've taken almost similar photo than that first one before, and same with many others. But at the other hand, it's my way... to take same photos again and again and again and in best case, to add something new to them.

And I almost could promise in this mood that there will be quite nice stuff coming... well, if my photographing style works. xD Trying to photograph as much as possible so there is few sets waiting... and I still have next week free - work will start at June, so... sorry for those who don't like my photos (like I would care).

Cheers!

I could see Doug P from Death in June wandering around with his mask on in this place for sure.

Beautiful photos as always.

Me too. It somehow brings my mind image of some kind of organ. Maybe you could play "Ode to Oblivion" with it when full moon shines.

Thank you very much. ^^

These are amazing photos! I love how rustic they are. The old machinery is so cool and that last picture you took of the trees is spectacular!
