Draining: Underwood Creek; Wauwatosa WI

Not much to speak of here. Walk-able drain goes maybe only 1/2mi. No effing clue as to what the creepy pile of mold with "hair" growing out of it is - would love to know, it someone is familiar! Lots of happy fishies living here! Images obviously from a cell phone - hence the grainy images in low light. I try my best to supplement with a flashlight - sometimes it works better than others...

8. Seriously - WTF is this? The white appeared to be some kind of mold. Is the black "hair" part of it, or is it hair from the remains of a dead possum encased in the mold? I was not about to touch it - even with my pocket knife. It was so alien looking there was a part of my brain that feared it would leap and cling to my face...

13. End of the line. Barely visible in the top of the frame is a steel grate, allowing storm water to drain off the golf course in Greenfield Park...
