Guignard Brick Works; Cayce SC. Built in 1900, operated at this location until 1972. "bee hive kilns" were considered obsolete when they moved the operation to Lexington that same year. On the National Registry of Historic Places. Open to the public. Property is still owned by descendants of the Guinard family, that began producing brick for sale in 1850 - 50yrs before these kiln were built.
