What is the best cordless power tool for St. Peter Sandstone and why?

I have seen grinding disks down in the tunnels but feel like a rotary hammer would work better (am I wrong?). If using a rotary hammer, would chiseling in hammer-only mode or drilling in hammer-drill mode work better?

You have to hire Canadians to build a portable TBM. They are usually payable in beer.

Okay, I suppose I deserve some shade thrown my way.

At least Derpyfingers gave me the benefit of the doubt and suggested Menards' finest cutlery, and not their discount option.

FWIW - Any digging would be out-of-sight of the authorities, in crappy crawl tunnels (not fancy caves) that the city no longer visits to access even-more craptastic crawl tunnels abandoned due to collapse. Nearly certain there are no secret entrances.

Beer works alright for us but what we really like is some fine maple syrup from northern Quebec. Hmm hmmm yeah buddy!
