To celebrate the end of final exams, I decided to check out an abandoned paint factory I've had my eye on for a while. Only one building out of four was accessible- the others were under construction or sealed.

This was a sink basin in the bathroom. Remember those round sinks in elementary school that sprayed water in a 360 degree arc when you stepped on the foot pedal? It was one of those.

Across the street from the factory sat a soccer field, which was quite active. This picture was taken from the second story window.

This was the elevator equipment room.

Looks like somebody found Huxley's prediction for the future rather depressing. Having read it, I can't say I blame 'em.
Unfortunately, I was unable to explore the entirety of the building- there was an entire underground utility tunnel section, but it was also under a couple feet of water at the shallowest, and I was not equipped for flooded confined spaces. In any case, it was an good way to mark the end of the semester, I'd say.
