Another explorer tipped me off to this church, but wasn't sure whether it was properly disused or not. I was pleased to find that it certainly is, despite the almost total lack of decay visible inside. Locations that are this well-preserved don't usually hold much appeal for me, but such a classic (built in 1886) church as this with all of the trappings and furnishings left completely untouched is hard not to like.

Really like how the stairs angle down and how that window is placed.

What a excellent little time capsule church!!

The exterior reminds me of churches that are scattered around rural Western New York.

Thanks everyone! I was just talking with someone who lives in the town where this church is located, and believe it or not, she told me that a congregation still holds services here, and that she saw cars there as recently as last Sunday. This despite the wasps buzzing around the altar, the windows missing panes, the broken toilets, the falling plaster in the entryway, and the obvious decay you see on the exterior. It is possible that she may have been thinking of another similar church in the area, but it seems that this may have been more of an infiltration that an abandoned building exploration, per se.
