I'm a university student originally from nyc! I really like urban ex, but I'm not sure how things work here. In nyc cops are very lax with urban ex because there's so much going on in the city (why worry about trespassing when there are bomb threats?). So basically, I'm wondering if there are any major consequences for trespassing here. My friends and I tried to go to the abandoned chemical plant downtown, but there was STM police so we got scared haha

It should be fine as long as you don't seem to be doing vandalism, theft, etc.
I've been caught many times and never really had a problem!

I usually carry a camera and a tripod when I go exploring.
If you get caught, you just say that you're working on a school project or some bs story. Usually cops believe you when you say that youre doing nothing bad, when you have a 1000$ camera in your hands. haha
