Ain't that the truth. I used to think I knew a decent amount about genetics. Then I undertook a semester long project in a lab conducting original research for one of my classes and I learned that I know nothing. I've spent the last three months researching how a specific protein interacts with a specific gene when using CRISPR gene editing and I barely understand it myself.
