There's a tract of land about 2 kilometres long near the railway line in East Perth where there used to be dozens of homes. Most were terraced houses, demolished in the 1990s. A couple still linger, and the rest of the land sits there vacant and dormant. Perfect place to take my dogs for a walk.

Last house on the block. Apparently this place has been home to a group of older heroin addicts for a while but they haven't been kicked out because they know how to lay low. Must bloody roast in there in the summer, but I bet it's pretty warm and dry in the winter.
