These Automatic bedpan washers are similar to standard autoclaves, but are much smaller, and unlike some autoclaves only use steam. Operation is also much more simple- the Cycloflush is opened with the foot pedal, then bedpans are placed inside and the start button is pressed. Bedpans are removed when the wash cycle is finished. As a note about Amsco, they still produce sterilizers, though I was unable to find anything about the Cyclo-Flush on thier site. I have e-mailed thier customer service department for info and/or blueprints. When I recieve a reply I will update thie entry.
