I saw a video a while ago of people (cave clan I think) barbecuing in a storm drain. Can anyone top that?

Are we living a life that is safe from harm? Of course not, we never are. But that's not the right question. The question is, are we living a life that is worth the harm?

I drove a Jeep I had in high school (CJ-5) up a flight of steps of a old textile mill and when I reached the top the front two wheels went through the floor......had to get a buddy and be creative with the winch to get it out.

This is actually the true origin story of my nickname. It was pretty stupid.

There is a maneuver named after me, lets call it a Steed Roll for UER purposes. It is active infiltration technically.

After soccer games, we would drink in World Cup Park in front of this convenience store.

The window would be opened, and I would dive through and roll on the other side, then get up and buy a beer like nothing happened. I dont think the workers ever saw the actual move, and werent bothered by me. Once my foot hit a shelf and knocked over a bunch of stuff, but they probably just thought I slipped. They made me buy one snack package I broke which turned out to be pretty good.

For me, personally, this thread has overlap to http://www.uer.ca/...=1&threadid=127462

But what's another funny/stupid thing I've done?
Probably stick a pair of panties on my head for my friend's camera. We were at an abandoned strip club, in case you wondered.

One day I got a good camera.

This isn't UE related but the stupidest thing I've ever done was hand a fake ID to a cop. Luckily he turned out to be chill and I didn't get in trouble for it but that could've ended poorly. Also this is my first post, nice to meet everyone!

Edit: It was hilarious at the time because of the state I was in, any outsider looking in on the situation must've enjoyed it.

I've been to two dingy places used by sex workers now. Both times I left feeling disgusting and immediately took a thorough shower afterwards.

Damn, that is raunchy. Why no pics?

If you ever find yourself in Korea, I'll take you to an old clinic where they forcibly treated prostitutes serving the US military for venereal diseases.

During that BBQ the State Emergency Service came. He was standing above a grille signalling to someone out of site. He pointed to his eyes ("I see") & then held his fingers up as to how many people he could see. He was trying to stay out of view, but didn't do a good job

The cop asked us to come out & we said "yep, we'll be there in a minute" but the entrance was a couple of miles away so I'm not sure how long they waited before they realised we'd all gone home.

If I gave you a list of stupid things I've done whilst exploring then that BBQ would be lucky to make the top 100

Some friends and I once were on a roof of an active building, and it had a sloped metal area that angled away from the edge. So we did what any logical person would do and climbed up the "slide" and slid down several times like we were at a park. My ass got covered in dust and dirt but it was pretty fun. 11/10 would do again.

We also once brought a small raft to a storm drain during a heavy rain because we wanted to try rafting from one end to the other which was funny, albeit stupid as hell.

That sounds like a lot of fun, I'd love to try that

In college we were "borrowing" the folding table from the laundry room to play beer pong for the night. One of the legs was stuck and wouldn't fold. Thinking quickly, but not smartly, I jumped as high as I could in the air to come down on brace. Well it worked. Really well. The leg hit me square in the balls and knocked me halfway across the room. My balls still hurt just thinking about it. Everyone had a pretty big laugh about it though.

Plenty of stupid things but I like this one because it was caught on camera.

This was at an abandoned mansion at my bachelor party, hanging out on a concrete ledge in the dark.
I've only lit one of these short-fuse Mexican "fireworks" before and it made a hole in the street, so, this time, I made a gas trail to it that I lit with a stick and was giddy as mess on trying to get clear as fast as possible. Lotta drinking giggles can be heard. Everyone was trying to hide behind the skinniest guy for some reason. One guy backed up too far in the dark and fell backwards off the 6' ledge (into some rusty mining metal). I was more concerned with where people were standing and immediately yelled, "Don't check on Alan yet!" The big boom goes off and all you hear are giggles and "JESUS SHIT!!!!" then, "Now let's honestly check on Alan."
The don't check on Alan yet gets a lot of mileage still. He did get lucky and only had a couple good cuts. Sleeping that night on the 2 story roof may not have been safe with the alcohol either.

It sounds classier if you pronounce it "tray-passing"

You'll never feel less like Batman than when you slip under a fence only to see the open gate several meters further away. Or when you accidentally put your ass through a window trying to slip inside a building.

Last week I was exploring an abandoned elementary school, which HD a few additional house-like structures on the property (used as overflow classrooms I think). I had walked past the south end to the west end, hoping to find an easy, break free way in. On the west side there were 2 windows that were too high up, but there WS an opening down near the floor, open, but blocked by weeds, a bush, and a small tree. I quickly noticed that there was no access on the north side. Having already passed the east side, I was relatively sure I'd seen no doors, or that if I had, they'd been nailed shut.
It's 93° out, I'm sweating rivers, and I'd forgotten my gloves. I told myself, "the photographer does what he has to do to get the shots." It was a work of maybe 4 minutes to carefully clear the brush away after confirming (within a reasonable doubt) that there was no poison ivy, and snagging/tangling myself on the damned prickly bushes. I shove my pack through the window, then myself...rest and hydrate for a sec, then start taking pics. Sure enough on the east end, not 1, but 2 doors! I try the knob of one, hoping it's nailed shut, if only to justify my jungle crawl...un-fooking-locked! (But to be fair, door number two was sealed) Upon leaving, I was rewarded with a very concerned looking Pooh Bear decal on the door. (And as it turns out, no poison ivy, stings, or bites)
