Got to work aboard at night, nobody around. It was so very cool. Cell phone cam did ok for night shots.

Great set of photos, especially for a cell phone. May not be a true abandonment, but I would love to see more photos. I need to get down there and see it in person. I've been on the Wisconsin and the Missouri, but would love to see the Iowa too.

My grandfather was stationed on The Iowa during WWII. Thank you for sharing.

These are beautiful shots, especially with the sick lighting.

Makes me realize that even though "urban exploring" is typically used only to describe exploring abandoned/decrepit areas, there are still plenty of non-abandoned urban places you can visit legally that more than warrant exploration.
