I also really got captured by shooting with film, but I'm far behind in getting rolls processed, scanned and PPed. I might make a thread with some favorites from 2017 in a few weeks months years.

You're one of my favorite accounts to follow on Flickr. Fantastic work all the way through, with special mention to #9 for being simple, but pretty original. #31 looks like something straight out of Fallout.

Aww yeah, I was hoping you would put up one of these threads. It's always great to see your stuff on Flickr and here, because you have a fabulous eye both for wide views of sites and the little details. Excellent work, can't wait to see what you get up to this year.

Wow!! Some killer stuff here! Really a little bit of everything here. From a massive industrial site to tiny details, really kept me interested all the way through the set.

Looks like you had some good vehicle finds this year as well. I really like the vehicles in the barn with the American flag. Was this a former shop, or on a abandoned house property?

So much light/dark goodness. Your shadows really help separating the subjects out. And the greens are fantastic.

Pentax K3. Wide angles lens is a Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6, I also occasionally use a Pentax DA L 55-300 f/4-5.8.

Thanks, the property is actually an old ore mining operation, this building was probably built after mining operation stopped. The current owner of the property used many of the buildings as junk storage, though it was all cleaned out in November.

Haha thanks, if only I could get film scans up as fast as my digital shots...

I've still got a few rolls left to scan, but I'm getting pretty close to being all caught up to this year.

I'm not sure if I should be more impressed by the places you explore or the photos you take of them. Wow, dude. All I can say is wow.
