So I have been into exploring for probably 5 years now. Always had the interest in the hobby but have only the last couple of years been into taking photo's. I still consider myself a beginner in the hobby and I don't have the time nor resources that I will ever be able to consider myself anything but a beginner. Although I have explored many buildings I am finding lately that it is the outside of buildings I am more interested in. I love looking at the architecture new and old. I have attached a picture of one of my fave buildings. It is in Newark, Upstate NY. I drive by this place so much. Every time I do I find it so mesmerizing. It just draws me in. It is an abandoned hospital for feeble minded women. I would love to see some of your guys outer shots of your favorite buildings.

I am a big fan of Edwardian and Arts and Crafts architecture and design. I am always excited, but sad when I get the chance to explore anything built in that architectural style. I certainly agree the outsides of many older buildings hold a lot of intrigue, but on the insides, there are finishings, doors, door frames, and other little things you wouldn't see in even slightly more modern buildings, but they captivate just as much.

I love old staircases. This is one of a few I've found in old buildings.

Old fireplaces, built-in cabinets and shelves, love those too...

Not a fan of painting on brick, but the spires in those houses redeem them for me...

One day I got a good camera.
