Dear lord, this creeps me out. It kind of reminds me of Holocaust pictures where all their shoes are in piles.

I'd love to know the story behind this.

I'm having a really tough time with this one.. Where did someone get all those shoes? Why does someone have all those shoes? Why did that someone put all those shoes there in that building? Why are they SPREAD OUT all over the floor? Why not in a container?

Think about the process of getting enough shoes to coat the entire floor of this room in a layer. Maybe I'm wrong, but it doesn't look like you can back a dumptruck in and call it good. Even then, a dumptruck doesn't spread them evenly like that. Someone had to have spent time to make this this way.

Maybe I just don't get contemporary building decor. These are awesome, looks like a great time!
