Hello everyone.

This explore was by far my favorite this year. So a quick story about this place, this is one building of many in a larger retail strip mall. Every building in this specific strip mall is abandoned except for one. The strip mall was built on top of a landfill which has caused the buildings to rise up from the ground due to the methane gas coming from the trash this place is built on. There are even unfinished buildings all around the area. If you were to drive around the backs of these buildings you would be able to see the black lines from where the asphalt USED to be. It has probably risen 2-3ft.

Surprisingly, this specific building has been abandoned for about 10 years now and nothing has been done about it. There have been articles written talking about how the shopping center is safe, but it still smells like trash there.

I know where this is! How difficult was it to get inside? I'd totally forgotten about this place. It's such an embarrassment for a certain city. I seem to recall a large chain grocer being open, and despite it being a very large and well-stocked store, it's always near empty of customers. Weird place.

Embarrassingly easy.

Funny story, I remember a few months ago my partner and I passed by this on the highway and I said it looked abandoned( because of there being only one store on the sign). They told me there was no way.
