Trust me if there was discrimination it would have been against me long ago. But there isn't. I'm a full member and I suck.
No, no you don't suck.
Maybe a tad red neck but spending time in the sun does that a man.
We are all misfits here of one sort or another; a common bond.
Misfits like to explore... it's in their nature.
n00bies here need to worry less about getting their FM and read all the tutorials and pin ups.
Asking obvious Q's is redundant at best, lazy or trolling at worst.
Sometimes even after reading what you should the first week or two, the answers can not be found.
Things can get misplaced here, and even long time FMs need to ask, 'what/where the hell is it?'
The Rookie or regional forums, or a PM to someone you trust are the best ways for new members to get answers or test the waters. Or simply wait and keep reading as you will find what you seek.
Waiting is part of the fun.
Read as many threads/posts as possible; learn from others accomplishments/mistakes.
Don't repeat the mistakes... there's a lot of that already.
Then, contribute/participate with meaningful material and wit. Posting a flurry of posts at once and then asking for FM tends to go south; no one likes to be bum rushed.
Consistency helps your image.
You will be notice if you do, sooner then latter.
Remember out of sight, out of mind.
Learn from your mistakes; many members gotten their FMs after they screwed up bad at first.
More than one of PBed members have been reinstated after outrageous transgressions here including myself.
In many ways this is a very tolerant site, and people here will give you a lot of leeway to a point.
Be straight up with people here, be yourself.
Never lie when the truth would serve you better.
DO NOT create duplicate accounts; live with your mistakes and correct them the right way in time.
If you are sincere we can be very forgiving.
