I'm a long time photographer of abandoned or weird places but I went and did some video of a track being torn down soon with my buddy. Thought I would share the adventure.

Cool! Was this in BC or Alberta? I was not previously aware of any abandoned racetracks around here.

Nice footage, time is ticking on this location, hoping to check it out myself before it's gone.

Sandown on Van Island, it's sadly about to become a Costco and other random buildings right in the heart of farm land. It's currently being torn down and i'm sad to see it go!

Damn, I guess I won't be making it to this one in time. You guys are lucky to have seen it in its final state.

They even just shut down the 7-11 in Sidney. That was a staple of the town for decades! that could have been an interesting tour.

Love it! I went there and checked it out. Noticed a truck pulled up to mine so we ran over to it from the street so it didn't look like we were on property and the guy was actually releasing the air in my tires!! We calmed him down and left with no problems.

Never stop exploring.
