If so what do you think of their content? Because these are the guys who pretty much got me into urbex. And anybody know if they use this site to find their places?

They used to share their videos here occasionally. While they may seem interesting at first, those boys sure could stand to learn a little bit about exercising discretion. Some locations are sensitive and shouldn’t be exposed to the whole world. But they don’t care. They sacrifice secrecy for their internet views. Their recent subway video, in particular, is a big goof. That spot is dear to many locals and should not have been blasted wide open on youtube. Hell, they even included a convenient little map to the exact location. That much attention on a location is unnecessary and just foolish. That kind of attention grabbing brings out a crowd of inexperienced little thrill seeking teenagers who might not realize what theyre getting into and find themselves getting hurt. Not to mention, bringing so much awareness to these spots can also draw unwanted attention from law enforcement. It’s also kind of annoying listening to the proper people as they just make random assumptions about the function of everything they see. Oh, and their “sponsored” UE videos...UGH.

Yeah I agree. The places they go they should keep it secret and not show their entry points. Lots of places in my area are being demolished or have heightened security because people are not being discrete online at all.

Yeah showing locations/poa to a big online audience is going to cause the wrong people to start to traffic the area. Which is rarely, if ever, a good thing. Usually just means fires, destruction, and either demolition or heightened security.

Nostalgia! Even before the dawn of teh interwebz has this been a highly debated issue. I'd be willing to bet even Dougo had objectors with Il Draino way back when.

I lean heavily toward a "word of mouth only" MO, but each situation is pretty different.

They make great content that I personally enjoy, they just leave a trail of destruction everywhere they go. It's really sad and the most recent example of this is a nuclear plant close to where I used to live. If this place follows the same pattern a lot of their locations have it will be really sad.

This sums up my feelings, too. There's no doubt that they make great videos, but the fallout from them is really unfortunate. It's hard to idolize people that inadvertently hurt the hobby which they're exposing, even when that exposure may be very interesting.
