My third time taking my daughter to this amazing old location in Upstate New York. I've been in contact with the landowners for a few years and they are always happy to grant us permission to come back anytime we wish.

The theme this year was "Beauty in Decay", allowing my daughter to contrast the decay with her youth, innocence and a pretty dress!

Last year we went with a post-apocalyptic/creepy theme but this year I really wanted to focus on her innocence as she is in a perfect phase between being a little girl and soon to be a teenager.

She was a natural in front of the camera, I told her of the theme and I directed her to be lost, lonely and curious and from there I barely had to direct her.

Have always enjoyed these photo shoots with your daughter. Very pretty girl. I know Dad is proud of her.
Really like pic 4 and 6 where she looks so sad and lonely. 9 is my fave as she curiously looks through the windows to see whats happening outdoors.
