Here are some photos from an abandoned house/barn that I explored back in January. I stumbled across this place by accident while driving down the highway one day. Truly beautiful, and hidden in plain sight.

Nice photos. I like the swimming pool shot and the attic a lot. The skull is that of a predator of some sort. No eye sockets on the side of the skull indicate the previous user of the skull had front facing eyes for depth perception to judge distance. I have done my share of euro mounts for taxidermy, lol.

Do you think it could be a raccoon skull? Both the teeth and the bone arches over the eye sockets fit. Coyotes, wolves, dogs, and foxes don't have those arches (though the fox comes closest, but the teeth are off). A house cat, bobcat, or mountain lion's snout isn't elongated enough to match.

Here's a raccoon skull for reference.

"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.
