Another abandoned structure was being demolished right beside this building. Surprised to see this thing still standing, it is definitely an "eyesore". Im sure this is next on the list of things to be demolished. Not sure how much I should say about it

Wow, this is really cool! I love pool area, it's cool with the moss growing inside. Great find.

Are we living a life that is safe from harm? Of course not, we never are. But that's not the right question. The question is, are we living a life that is worth the harm?

They're having trouble just tearing down what's across the street, I recall. That place will be around a long time, I bet... reminds me of the Gary Sheraton.

I was here towards the beginning of the year, it looks a lot different without snow. I wish i had noticed that whole section of windows busted out.

They use to build them right.
Thick, reinforced concrete can be a bitch to demo, especially if the contractor didn't realize what they were getting into.
It can be amusing to watch them struggle.
Too low a bid, lacking the right equipment and structural knowledge they needed.

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

I know where this is. From what I understand, part of why it still stands is due to issues over who actually owns it. It may be standing for a long time still, despite it being in no shape to have anything done to it.

I know other folks have posted this place in the past. The only thing I'll say that might identify some Ohioans as to where this is is that a certain very large company wants to build something also very large on the property next to it, which also used to contain something very large. Forgive the vague description, but that's the best I can do without making it's location ridiculously easy to find.

PS - If anyone would be so inclined to discuss going here with me, as I wouldn't go alone, I'd love to take a trip. Drop me a line.
