Hello all. I've been an urbex fan for a long time but haven't done much personally. So this series of pictures is a plot of property owned by once large company that has gone bankrupt in the past year. It may look like the country but this is in the suburbs and right off a highway. I've been scoping out the property for a while but its surrounded by barbed wire fences. A recent storm brought down a large tree giving easy access.
After getting over the fence the perimeter is lined with tall pines to obscure the view.
The is one of the two small ponds on the property. I was told the one closer to the buildings was to be used in case a fire broke out.
You can barely make out the deer in this picture. Across this "meadow" is an access road leading back to the buildings. More on the road later.
Tall pines blocking the view.
We were making our way through the weeds down to the pond when I noticed the local police across on the other side. We decided it was best to leave. The road the cops were on doesn't loop around to our side so we thought it best to calmly walk out.
I honestly think us and the police seeing each other was a coincidence. They probably go there to watch the deer roaming around. We made it back through the woods and back to the car without incident.
