I've been pretty silent lately as I've just gotten back from a long trip to the UK and a number of sites there. The main focus was to visit a dozen or so abandoned manors, churches and mansions, and I reached most despite a disaster which involved losing money and IDs at the start of the trip. After three weeks of travel and exploring here are some of the memorable sites. I haven't gotten far in editing, but I hope you enjoy.

Now that I've posted this I'm having second thoughts. Due to being outside the NE US, can we move it to Photography? Thank you for any assistance.

Very nice.
I think they look much better full size.
It appears flickr resizes them quick & rough.

Next time I certainly will! I have close family in the UK so I make a long trip at least once a year. My mother actually visits this forum and is a big fan of your exploring posts as am I. Thank you for the offer and I will hit you up next time for sure.

Thank you all for the compliments. It may have helped I bought a new camera, but I've also sought to change my editing style after some helpful feedback from you all. I'm glad you enjoy the tweaks.

When a historic place has this level of growth, it goes from interesting to totally incredible.

I totally agree. At first I was sort of disappointed with some of these until I realized just how non sterile and intertwined they were with the trees, vines and mosses. It's something we don't see often over on this side of the pond as they are usually wood or demoed too soon.
