This was my last abandonment with Baldran before I moved to Arizona. A mostly beautifully preserved house with ornate qualities.

Some pretty great shots here! I love the angle on the staircase one, and I really do want that hot tub for my own . Pink bedroom is also fabulous.

Really cool combination of elegance and decay. Heck, even the tagger in #2 seems to have worked to find an aesthetically pleasing match between vandalism and the surroundings!

Man, you always have such an excellent eye for detail. The spiderweb, the fake owl and the stair details especially turned out great. Great work with this place, glad we could give you such a good sendoff. =)

Great set!

The bunny in #8 looks like it's been crying... or somebody pissed on it...

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

Enjoyed seeing your take on this home as i had really found it interesting when Baldran posted his shots. Liked comparing the two to get a overall picture in mind of the place....Here is Baldrans set if anyone would like to do the same: http://www.uer.ca/...=1&threadid=126203
In your set i noticed the cobweb on the reading chair and the stairwell shot #15 seeming makes this place even bigger than before with at least 3 floors if not more. Im still wondering what happen to the family and the home. Is there any history on this place? Thank You for your captures!

Love this collection of shots! Definitely did a good job at conveying just how large this house was.

I talked to one of the first people to explore this place not long ago, and according to them, the current owner bought it for his daughter, who refuses to live there, and he refuses to sell it in hopes that she'll change her mind. I think it might be a little past that point, though.

From what we saw when we visited, the home was occupied at one point by a family of Sikh doctors, who ended up moving to an even grander home in Baltimore. Most of the leftover relics seem to relate to them.
