So now that I am settled in my new place in Tucson, I might as well share my adventures so far.
Lets start with this quiet little selection of buildings just off Route 66 in New Mexico. I cruised on through, for a brief visit as I wanted to make it to the hotel before it got too late.

Fast forward to the other day...I am settled in at my new place. What do I do? Explore! I took a drive out to this ghost town called Sasco. There were locals shooting off guns when I went, so I made my presence known by climbing up-top a hill in my 4Runner.

Then a few days later, I drove out to the middle of nowhere, just 4 miles shy of the Mexico border to this rad little town called Ruby. Today, it is a tourist attraction and you have to pay 12 dollars per person to walk around. There is a care taker in the center of it all, and he does drive around. However, the buildings can be entered which is a plus.

Thanks man, appreciate it. It was a long, but good trip! There is a bunch to see, and I have a whole new area of the country to explore. I know i will definitely see some rad stuff. The desert is full of great surprises.

The Piano pic 21, just beautiful, I do wish BC had areas like this, it all gets torn down too fast, I see what's leaving and you literally have days before it's gone - nice work man!

Thanks! And yes, alot of stuff out here is untouched and in pretty good shape, especially when you get into the very remote areas.

Can't believe that white car at the gas station looks as good as it does and someone just left it there. It's just begging for restoration!

Good photos overall, be glad you don't have the Eastern humidity and rains that rot everything.

I believe there was a trailer behind that gas station, given the no trespassing signs. Still though, that white car should be saved!
I love the low humidity and cool monsoon rains.
