Three different evenings at this week and three different locations. I hope this ain't too much for one post... but here we go anyway.
Another summer evening with that ”should photograph something” mood. This place is far, but it were also been for long time in my mind, you know, two years since last visit, I should return. And so I did. There is small gravel road… and at the side of it five abandoned buildings paint with same yellow. These are from one of them (others ain’t so photographical).
As you can see, I did enter inside too. I did, even I didn’t get there two years ago but since then chimney was collapsed so I did think that at least it won’t collapse over me. Mood at photos might be peaceful, but reality was something else. These are in the middle of wide fields, evening was filled with hard wind and when hitting against that house and blowing even through it, whole building did cry and moan, it was pretty scary because house are literally falling to every possible direction – just look that photo where another room’s table is straight and so is lamp comparing how much that other room is leaning.
But here we go…

Then we did get to Welsh show to watch (and of course, photograph) beautiful ponies. That trip did take me to partly never seen roads, so it was time for looking for new ones. I did catch one new, so at next evening, no matter I were bit tired from 3:45 wake up (check bonus picture) and “running out of money, don’t go” mood… you know, of course I did get there even it were far.
Well, actually I didn’t get there. I did of course do some searching with maps too from that area and I did find one that did look even more interesting, so I did get there… Sadly it was bit like run through thanks to my nervous – weather were fine and there were tractors at the fields making hay. Also whole place… it did feel bit risky to stay there for too long, or even long, or even stay there.
I did also have quite nice meeting when entering from vestibule to kitchen – which by the way were only room of 5 where you were able to enter for obvious reasons: big owl did fly from kitchen trough vestibule to that room that can be seen at last photo, wings almost literally touching my face.
There were also that amazing detail in that mostly collapsed kitchen, like it would have somehow to be forgotten out of time into that corner under that hardly hanging ceiling, I’ll bet you’ll get what I mean.

And then… it was Wednesday afternoon and again I did feel that day without photographing would be wasted time. Weren’t able to get too far, so it was time for my most photographed farm again, after nine months since last visit.
Place was change a bit. First of all garden was less jungle like – someone have cut trees and do other things like that there. I did tought they probably will finally demolish that house and built maybe new one there. Then I did spot small sauna building at the yard: it did have little new paint on it. Not fully painted, but partly… and still windows were broken and doors literally open! It was small mystery, but I did photograph with no hurry at the yard and in the forest before entering the house.
Because that image of demolition I did once again try to get upstairs through those really scary stairs… and they didn’t broke even at this time. At there I did hear car getting closer. I didn’t worry because really small road goes through that yard and local people drive through it quite often.
But then that vehicle did stop just under that second floor’s window, front of sauna which were opposite side of that one car road. I did hear how young and very angry man did start to swear “what the fuck, we have to put camera here” and older woman yell like “this is madness” and so on and on and on. Soon they did even stop the engine.
At this point it was quite… you know, angry people outside and me stuck in the attic. I did wonder if I just should get downstairs and try to sneak out from window so they wouldn’t see me, but it wouldn’t be possible I suppose. I did also thought if I should just climb out from that window and go to greet them, but angriness level did sound that high that I decide to wait and see what will happen. I did put sounds away from my phone and wait wondering if they will come into house too. I did think that stairs are in so bad condition that it’s quite small possibility that they will get to attic… so I did just wait. After 15 minutes they did get into their car.
At that point there were still one thing to wait: would they turn around at the yard or continue farer when they would see my car and obviously understand that there were somebody even in that very moment. I was lucky, they did turn at that yard and I did get happily away from there. Still pretty amazed – over 10 years and this was first time to even hear owners. Also amazed about that what have happen there – it did sound like even those garden jobs wouldn’t be done by those! Strange things happen in these hoods.

And then we shall transfer ourselves to Torronsuo national park through this off-topic-bonus-picture. Again one of those mornings when everything else, coming financial problems and that kind of shit did feel really inessential. To see something like this with your own eyes… how could any money compare to that ever?
That’s it, folks!
