Hope you enjoyed the sweat and blood lost on these. Glad to have an overly supportive wife.
Shots taken either by me, her, my exploring partner, a student of sorts, and one was taken by Anomalicious.

I really enjoy the freedom of being able to over post-process the ever-loving bleak dystopian shit out of these.

Couple before/after examples

These are so awesome. You have a knack for finding the most pitch-perfect settings for these shoots, and your post-processing only further highlights that.

I'm curious: are your rifles props or functional?

Thanks all. I enjoy interacting with places that I already enjoy exploring. It feels more like creating something.

I threw up an instagram up with just my post-apocalyptic series stuff so they're all in one place: https://www.instag...postapocalypticme/

Thanks muchly, friend. It really is a blast from building the outfit, finding things to add, places to shoot, and the after fun back at the computer. Suiting up is a chore, but after getting it all set and essentially taking a dirt bath, it's easy to stay in character.

These guns are real. Noel and I had to hike in the long way for that shoot to keep from being seen.

The AR, I simply wrapped in old bike tubing since I really didn't want to damage it. And is it smart to carry guns, real or fake while trespassing? Nope, but this whole hobby modification eclipsed smart a long time ago.

I do enjoy the rawness of going weaponless for the series, just being the weapon I guess. But it is fun to mix it up and who doesn't like guns?

I ALWAYS enjoy seeing you and Noel create new shots to add to your series. It must feel pretty darn good to take all that dirt, sweat, and gear off at the end of the day and jump into shower.

Thanks. It's usually baby wipes and whatever creek or ditch we find around.

Fun story: The up high mining area as opposed to all the other places is apparently very popular. I surprised two groups that after they figured out I wasn't dangerous and didn't live out there, asked to take photos with me. One was this older lady who after making her husband pose with me, asked me to help her figure out her camera.

You guys must have loads of fun seeing ppls. reactions to your gear and as you said...trying to decide whether you lived out there. LOL. I wish a camera crew could follow you both around and it could be documented for us all to see

Sweet
Wuv the site, the composition and bland colors a lot.
And of coarse the guns
That last image looks like it would've definitely got some blood from you if you continued playing there too long

War. War never changes.

Love these pics! Awesome job! And that does look like the post processing would be a blast considering there are no expectations or "rules" to what needs to be done.
