Two of the most famous products of Berkeley are LSD and Unix. I don’t think that this is a coincidence.

Walnut Grove Cemetery, aka Glenbeulah Cemetery; Glenbeulah WI

Burials Dating back to the 1870's. Possibly earlier, some stones are no longer legible. Featured on an episode of "Unsolved Mysteries". Often tops lists of most haunted in Wisconsin, and I have even seen it on top 10 lists of most haunted cemeteries in the USA.

Some reported paranormal experiences reported include a stone that glows, stones that are warm to the touch, and a ghostly pair of shoes that appears next to a grave. Someone also supposedly hung themselves here, and their apparition appears at dusk.

I can't find anything to support the hanging. I also have not experienced anything unusual here, but it is indeed creepy. I have gotten chills and goosebumps, which some attribute to paranormal. But being a man of science, I think it was my own subconscious creeping me out. "Ghost Hunters" often refers to this as "matrixing", or your brain making normal feelings and sounds into something they are not. I have never been after dark. Internet searches and forums say it has been a common hangout for vandals, and teenage drinking. Therefore, is often patrolled at park close and through the night....

Once again, I am a man of science. I have a hard time believe in things that can't be explained. But I have experienced weird stuff in my life, and I know man can't explain everything. Therefore, I continue my search for the "Holy shit. That was real. That just happened. I saw it with my own 2 eyes." moment.

St. Theresa Cemetery; Eagle WI

Old with a definite creep factor. History does exist, but nothing of real interest. Every time I pass through I HAVE to visit here and I have no clue why. I am totally drawn to it. I feel attached to it for some reason. I have even built wooden crosses to replace broken ones here in the past, totally anonymously. Crosses on graves of unknown people, at least unknown to me. My connection here is a complete and total mystery to me.

Having wifi issue so I'm sharing the gallery link instead - trying to document as many of the cemeteries nears me as possible. I did find one the other day that is closed and listed as unsafe, apparently, parts are caving in.
This one is much older. https://photos.app.../SsmpZaUqPEjhRLdo8

La Belle Cemetery, Oconomowoc WI. Supposed to be one the most haunted in WI. The memorial of the woman with the cross is said to cry blood, and after dark she comes to life only walk into the river next 30 or so feet away to drown herself. Personally gonna call BS on that, but her memorial is easily my favorite. This location also has a number of cool mausoleums....

An infant burial in 1912. While someone sort of cuts grass, I hate to see stones obscured. Make me want to return just to trim the overgrowth, even though I've zero connection to this cemetery or anyone in it....

Mayfield Cemetery, Cedar Creek WI. No, I was not the asshat that drove though the cemetery and likely over several unmarked graves....

I regret not taking a picture, but just over the top of the hill was a large burn pit. Perhaps there is an annual memorial party here. Maybe it is for brush and leaves collected on the property. idk. But what was weird about it is that the pit was the size and shape of a coffin. Surely no one is burning coffins and bodies here. But it was indeed a weird co-inky-dink!

St. Francis Borgia Cemetery, Cedarburg WI

I love this stone. Not only is the rough carved cross awesome, but it appears the angel is about to carve the epitaph on the headstone. It is assumed the angel used to have a carving tool in the hand that is now missing.....

What would this angel say about you?
