A couple of weeks back on my trip to Wales me and my friend swung by this former brake pad manufacturing plant. I was tipped off about it by another friend of mine who said it was very easily accessible and good for a half hour wander or so. However me and my friend spent probably twice as long as that here as despite it's ruined state we both rather liked it. It was nice and peaceful inside if you count wind banging loose metal sheeting and the constant sounds of seagulls flying around, fighting and landing on the roof of the building quiet.
The main factory floor is a single massive open plan space, it looks as if after closing most of the interior partition walls and offices were bulldozed ready for demolition that never happened and one end is filled with piles of rubbish from the old factory. As well as the huge factory building there is a large office block which is completely stripped and been on fire so we didn't bother, and a secondary building housing four enormous boilers which was my favourite part of the location (obviously).
As is the norm with Wales, by the time we were done inside it was raining quite persistently outside, so I only got one exterior shot.
