Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic have a ton of WWII abandonments that I'd dearly love to explore... carefully.

BIG thing to realize though. Their laws are vastly different than the US. The Bundespolizei have no qualms about cracking skulls for the slightest reason. So definitely understand exactly what laws you'll deal with you get caught.

Not to mention your ass will be in a sling with the embassy/consulate if you get charged.

Belgium is a must see. Tons of abandoned heavy industrial shit over there. UK is also nice but I only explored drains there. Same goes for France, there are some abandoned buildings but the most interesting part definitely is the Paris catacombs.

The UK is great if you like industrial or military explores, or abandoned houses. Not much in the way of hospitals or asylums left. It does have a very extensive public transport network as well. A shoutout must go to the Republic of Ireland as well, there are a few great asylums over there and god knows what else, nobody really seems to explore anything there.

Italy is THE must-see go-to country for European exploring, there is a ridiculous amount of amazing shit over there. Belgium has had a lot of the really good iconic places demolished or made otherwise unexplorable over the last couple of years, there is nowhere near as much cool stuff as there once was.

If you do make it to the UK it'd be nice to cross paths ;)

Explored in Germany, in particular Berlin, went to Teufelsberg Spy station and SpreePark, incredible history there and a crazy drug smuggling story with the abandoned amusement park, also checked out an empty airport called Tempelhof.

My vote for Berlin, apart from the abandoned the history there is mind blowing and it puts things into perspective
