I'm not sure how common these posts are, but I thought I would give it a try. These structures are a 3 mile walk into the marshes of a nearby town. We started the trek before the sun even came out. This was a first for me. My parents & my sister specialize in this kind of stuff as well as weddings, but I rarely ever shoot people. It was a good learning experience & probably won't be the last time. All shots are on 35mm film. Would love to hear feedback.

Get in closer, many times a longer lense 70+mm helps.
The Canon 70-200f/2.8 shot wide open excels at this especially in heavily back lite shots.

Of coarse you can always crop if it was a good shot to begin with, but the AF lock/subject focus may not as precise as when more of the frame is filled by the subject.
Generally try to get the AF lock up on the eyes.
Model and people shooting is the hardest type of shooting there is as far as I'm concerned.

#6 and #8 are my favs

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

You're right, I rarely see pictures with people on this site. Probably blackhawk's right, it's because they're more difficult to photograph. I really liked yours, though. Now I'm wondering who that couple is!
