Inside an Abandoned Millionaire's Villa (found panic room, slaughtering block, ...) < on 5/28/2017 4:28 PM > | Reply with Quote
During a big urbex roadtrip last February, our local friends decided to show us an abandoned luxury villa. Together with Luca from the YouTube channel UrbexLuca we entered the overgrown property somewhere in Luxembourg. Apparently this mansion belonged to a successful building contractor. The business itself is right next door – and abandoned as well.
It was pitch-black everywhere. And where the windows weren’t blocked up we had to be very careful with our flashlights because no one should spot us from the outside. Unfortunately almost no furnishings are left.
Of course a spa area must not be missing. Next to an indoor swimming pool there’s a sweatbath for example – everything is still in pretty good condition.
As far as we know, this building and the neighboring construction company have been abandoned for some years now because of a lawsuit. The legal battle is about two former business associates who are involved in a dispute with each other which is all about a lot of money and crooked machinations as well as jewelry, wine and - how could it be otherwise – weapons. One of the associates is being accused of having used the account of the building company - of which he only owns a stake in - and embezzled around five million Euros to lease a hunting ground in Germany.
