Well, doing urbex in a city like Toronto your limited to your giant factories. Ever since I started this hobby back in April of last year I only dreamed about hitting this legendary spot. I was lucky enough to find my way in around 2 weeks ago and oh my. It was incredible, truly astonishing. I've only ever seen pictures of how big this place seemed to be. My perception of big was clearly wrong as I entered through my POE. It was a feeling I have never felt during any exploration. It was enormous. Fucking enormous for that matter. I got a spooky vibe as I started picturing the past stories I have heard about this place. Carefully making sure every step was perfect and safe. Anyways, sun was going down and we didn't want to be in there for the dark lets just say. It was a real short exploration (about 25 minutes) and I plan on going again soon to get a glimpse of the famous control room. I hope you enjoy some of the captures I got from inside!!

cool set of pictures....There's been so much film-related activity in & around this place lately that I haven't seen any recent photos. It's amazing how quickly it can revert back to a pure industrial decay vibe despite major cleanups for Luminato and numerous films.

Nice job, I felt the same way when I first went. Exact same feeling I got when I first found my way onto a rooftop and into the tunnels. The sheer size of the place is breath taking. Next time you go, make sure you have at least 3 hours to walk around, then you can at least get a sense of how big it really is.

Yes, nice work man! No matter what else ever comes up, this place will always be most impressive. You only barely scratched the surface, literally.

My advice when you go back....find the stairwells and go all the way up and work your way down!!!

Great opening shot! So nice and squared up. Puddle reflections in industrial settings are always so photogenic.

It's been years since I've been to Hearn because of the constant filming... perhaps a return trip is in order?

Simsby, for handheld shots, these are phenomenal.
