This nice chapel was found by chance as we drove past and noticed it wasn't in use anymore and looking a bit sorry for its self with a few broken windows and overgrown so decided to take a look inside. Site Description Soar Methodist Chapel was first built in 1806, rebuilt in 1845 and enlarged in 1864. Soar was rebuilt for the final time in 1877, by architect Richard Owen of Liverpool, in the Romanesque style of the gable entry type with an integral tower.

After you gave your sermon did you climb the bell tower?
Were you able to access the whole structure?
Old electrical marble switch panels and fire suppression systems are cool relics you come across in well preserve structures like this sometimes.

To be honest we didn't hang around long there. But I did say to the others when we came out we didn't do the tower.
