First and foremost I want to give a huge thanks to Justin Case for hitting me up with this location. I was intending to explore this beautiful building with him, but the time I had was crunched and I couldn't wait any longer for a response. However, he did tell me to tell him how it was so I'll do that now.

These are all photos I took as we were leaving the building. Sorry if some of them are a bit sloppy, we were in a rush. I did come across a squatter while inside and thankfully he was one of the nicest homeless I've ever met. It was a bit startling at first but we continued to explore the foundation. After covering almost the entire building, we decided to go upstairs where we found heap loads of black mold. The smell was horrible and it was definitely not safe so we avoided the higher floors. This is what i got so enjoy. I am also making a video of our experience if anybody is interested you may personally message me to refrain from any self advertisement.

If you know where this location is and you are planning on visiting, I highly suggest you take notice to the following:
*Homeless
*Asbestos
*Mold
*Ticks/Fleas
*Feces
*Flooding
*Stuff that smells bad

I like Pic 7. It Looks all stinky-wet-nasty. Pic one i have seen before in another persons photos and i never asked...im thinking some kind of baby, play pen that would be safer so they wouldn't get caught up in the bars of the old-school wooden kind!?!? Would that be right?

Thanks, pic 7 is my favorite as well! And I believe those are a variation of a cradle in pic 1. After all, those were found in the infirmary.

The first shot of the play pens is my favorite. They seem so out of place in the context of the other pictures. What was this place? Just looks grimy af... I hope you had a respirator! Neat place, though. I love the exterior architecture. Your shots of it remind me of Santa Fe and that style of buildings.

I kinda got the Santa Fe vibe as well. The exterior is one of the very cool parts about this building as well as the oldest part of the interior. Unfortunately that section is covered in the thickest black mold I have ever seen/smelt. To answer your question of "what is this place", I can't say the name specifically because it would give away the location. What I can say is this is a hospital that was shut down for insufficient funding and I'm not sure how long ago. Thanks for the feedback!
