Hello all. i made this account and never got around to posting. Here are some some shots from one of my recent explores. This abandoned house is in leesville LA and is pretty much untouched since roughly 2005. it appears to have been owned by a lawyer.

Nice house at one time. Hope those aren't active court cases and pending lawsuits stacked in those boxes!

I didn't look through any of them. from what was visible everything was dated around 2003. the most recently dated piece of mail was from 2012.

I hear ya, sometimes, if I have time, I will browse through and read documents I find in locations, I never take or damage them but have found some pretty interesting stuff at old refineries and factories.

That's a lot of boxes!

This is one interesting house. If i was a little closer i would have to see it for myself. Strange how those boxes have no mold or water damage. Then, we go to the kitchen and find cabinets that look older and more crusty than the house itself. Always amazing me how you will find a location once on the inside. Whats with that frig. looks like it was moved under the vent hood for the stove!?! Weird. lol.

The whole layout of the house was really odd. Picture #8 the laundry room i assume had doors to the front and back porch but none to the rest of the house. The garage led directly to the room with all the files. That room had the bathroom with toilet and neither were connected to the main house. Even the garage had no mold or significant plant life.

The kitchen was through the front door. immediate right led to the red room that could pass through bathroom 2 and into the other wood floor room. Straight through the kitchen led to orange room i'm thinking was the dining room. The dining room and family room were an open floor plan.

It's still virtually untouched and with the cracked foundation and buckling concrete slab foundation it's definitely a cool photo spot. Plus one of the neighbors is cool with photography.

Thanks. I've been doing it for about 5 years now. I have the time to fully invest and meet other explorers and ultimately have fun. I I love photography and urban decay. I feel my skills have developed enough to post quality content.

I'm pretty far from Louisiana.
Was over that way for a few months over a year ago.
Nice people, food and saw some cool spots including an old plantation.

Great photos man! The pictures of the shower remind of a shot that would be in Breaking Bad or something...

Strange how the residents just up and left family photos and documents, makes you wonder what made them leave.

Crazy how fast houses fall into disrepair when there's nobody living in them. Only twelve years and the garage roof caved in.

It does have Breaking Bad feel to it. I loved the lighting with the peeling paint.

I couldn't tell ya. I assume it's because the foundation is buckled and cracking.
