These were taken over a year ago, before the last deluge of explorers hit this place.

Ever since I started exploring, this has been at the top of my list. I've heard all the horror stories of the caretaker and the cops, having to scale the sides to get into the building, you name it.

I've always put it on the back burner, so when I heard it was doable, I jumped at the opportunity and went that next weekend.

Sometimes the stories make things better in your head than when you get there. This was one of them. While this place had plenty of interesting things, as you can see below, 75% of the place had been gutted or cleaned out already.

Still a great place to have seen. Now that they are demolishing it, I'm glad I got to see it and cross this one off my bucket list. It would have been awesome to see it restored, but poeple need more fucking condos, so whatever.

Sorry for the large amount of pictures.

I explored this place years ago and it definitely was one of the hardest places on my list that I got into.

It was a giant place, but very repetitive, but you managed to capture a lot of great stuff here!

Nice job.

seconded epic and nice work!!

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

One of my favorites. When I went, a bunch of cops showed up and circled the building with flashlights. We just waited up on the top floor until they left. Once the sun came up, we were good to go. I suppose a neighbor heard us going in or something.

Is this place completely gone yet?

Outstanding set. Lots of great shots, but for some reason 32 is the one that most knocked me on my ass.
