Slowly, slowly this moving project is getting on. I still have needed my photographing dose to avoid withdrawal symptoms... mostly I have done short trips to rapids at the side of my hometown, but twice I did get to this side of madness too. So first we shall head to abandoned quarry, which is located on rock hill that have really "fuel for imagination" kind of name: Iron Hill.

Nature Takes, Nature Hides:

Feeling Small:

Manmade Wounds of Mother Earth:

One Step Further:

Stone Cold:

Stone Pillar:

Naked Trees:

Few days later I did decide return to brick factory. But then when driving to there... this small and well hidden farm house did come into my mind, so I did get there. Since my last visit at last autumn, someone have get there. Few furnitures were missing and things that have been in those, were throw all over place, so place that used to be real time machine have turned to something else. Sad, so sad.

Cold, Cold Home:

Grey Oblivion - The Final Broadcast:

Little Golden Shoes:

That Summer (Wish of Returning):

Glowing in the Attic:

End of Everyday:

-----

And then to the off-topic-bonus-picture, which comes from last thursday and from Torronsuo national park:

Thanks for watching. Cheers!

A push-button TV?!? Now you are going way back!
The quarry shots all turned out fabulous (especially the intro shot). It was the perfect amount of snow to still allow the 'blacks' to come through. Any more covering of white and the photos just would not have looked the same. You chose the perfect day to go out there!

Yeah, that kind of TV's... you really can talk about dying breed (even I'm pretty sure that it would still work). And I agree: that quarry works better at winter for reasons that you did tell. Stone against snow... it makes it more "graphical" or something like that, brings stone better up.

Thank you sooo much, this comment did make cold shivers run through my spine because that is thing that I mostly hope from my photos.
