I live in Southern Ohio, and am looking for more places to explore. Does anybody know of any, or want to meet up sometime to explore? Just let me know if anybody is interested. There aren't a lot of other explorers in my area as far as I know.

Depends on where in Southern Ohio you are. I know there are a few explorers in SW and Central Ohio. I live in Cleveland, but I go to SE Ohio fairly often. In and around Athens there are a metric fuckton (This is true. I measured it) of abandoned houses, factories, businesses and whatnot all over the place. Just take a drive down any country road and you'll find something.

I have explored all over the Jackson, Chillicothe, and Vinton county areas, I am just looking for some more good finds. Lancaster is my next target. Any other ideas?

I explore in southeast Ohio a lot but live in the Canton area. A lot of the old coal-mining towns in Perry/Athens/Hocking/Morgan counties have houses, schools or churches. But, like Splumer said, all you have to do is drive around SE Ohio and you'll find places that are worth exploring. You'll run into a lot of good stuff this way that you won't find on the internet.

There are a few cool places along the southeastern shore of the river. I can recommend places in Georgetown, Higginsport, and Maysville, KY, specifically.

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.

If you're ever over in southwest Ohio I'd recommend hitting up Cincinnati and maybe even Dayton Ohio. From what I hear there's a load of abandoned stuff in Cinci. I know for a fact there are plenty of abandoned factory buildings and more abandoned houses than you could ever get through up here in Dayton where I'm at, they're all over the place like a plague here.

Hey all, i'm located near Cinci and have a few places i've been considering exploring (not necessarily in Cinci, but not too far away) if anyone would like to tag along. Sadly, I don't have any friends with a single adventurous bone in their body and i'd prefer not to urbex alone if possible, so feel free to PM me if you're in need of an exploring partner!

I live in SE Ohio, and it's so cool to see my neck of the woods getting some love, even if it may be for the wrong reasons. I know most don't like to share location specifics, but if someone would PM me, I'd greatly appreciate it!
