Thanks to the lack of winter this year I've been getting out a lot more than I normally would. Life hasn't given me a lot of free time lately but I'm still out there from time to time. A couple from each of my last half dozen or so trips. Hope you enjoy.

Nice work! Some familiar stuff here. #5 and #6 is basically home. #9 and #10 is an awesome location.

5 and 6 I would expect to be gone by now. Things were looking pretty bleak for that place a month or so ago. Most of it was already gone at that time. The location in 9 and 10 isn't going anywhere but it's basically a playground for vandals and scrappers now. Same deal with the location in 7 and 8. Getting destroyed fast. Pretty sad what's happening to these places.

5 and 6 still has some left but key buildings are gone. As of right now they are moving pretty fast and things are getting difficult. The demo has people drawing attention to the place and causing kids to go and get caught. Im by a couple times a week to even just check out demo from the sidewalk. 9 and 10 is a shame how bad admin recently got vandalized. The grand staircase is almost totally destroyed.

Loving picture 10. Looks like its straight out of a horror movie. Something about old wheelchairs sitting in a dark room that have always creeped me out.

11 RULES. I took a lot of multiple exposures there with the idea of trying to create a photo like that, but you killed it so thoroughly that I might just let my shots die on the vine.

#11 is some of your best work bud, nice shots

Before a big explore I like to work with leather. The Native Americans always said that working with hides and pelts releases the soul.

Thanks guys. I have to be perfectly honest here, that picture really doesn't do much for me. I have a pretty good camera and lens (I think) but I couldn't do a double exposure if you paid me to. I can't set aperture or shutter speed and I don't even know what ISO stands for so . . . . . just keep on snapping those pictures because everyone gets lucky once in awhile !!

It stands for International Standards Organization.

Now you know!

For a long time I didn't know how to change anything other than focus or zoom, and my camera would automatically determine shutter speed based on the light it detected. So I would shoot the camera in pitch black, then turn on a flashlight for however long I figured was good, then turned it off and let the camera finish its exposure. And redo this as many times as needed before finally getting the right light level.

Reading the manual and Google was so worth it.
