Posted by jonrev Nikon D3100 + 18-70mm (and a Bower fisheye on occasion) has been my workhorse for the last six years. It's starting to show its age, so I'm thinking of going up to a D750 + 35mm within the next year or so.

Went a way different route than this -- I shoot far more film than digital, now. A pile of 120 film fell into my lap a few years ago and I've largely adopted that as my primary medium. Didn't have anything to shoot with at first, so I modified my
Polaroid 600SE to use Mamiya 6x9 backs. Recently replaced by a
Mamiya Super 23 so I can use more lenses.
In between, I carried an
Olympus XA-4 for much of 2019-2020 then found a
Yashica T4 at an e-waste dropsite and used that since last year. Recently I had a bargain
Rolleiflex restored and will probably start carrying that more, so I can stick to 120.
Posted by jonrev Secondary cameras have always been instant film; lately it's been a Polaroid 195 Land Camera, and some form of folding SX-70 or SLR-680. |
Between finite supply of expired Fuji packfilm, and cost/unreliability of current Polaroid film these have become more special-purpose cameras, but they still come out from time to time.
