Great shots! Even though I'm an atheist, I hate seeing churches deteriorate. The craftsmanship that went into that place is incredible. Weddings, funerals, hopes, and agony were all experienced there. I didn't see any tagging or scrapping which is nice. Hopefully the old place can be saved and restored to its former grandeur. Thanks for the set.

Glad you liked it

There's a bit of scrapping thats gone on, some plumbing and other fixtures in the lower level and such are gone. It would be nice to see it restored, but I can almost guarantee that won't happen just because of the neighborhood it's in, and it's in really terrible condition, a lot of water is getting in through the roof. That and whoever owns it hasn't bothered to take any sort of security measures against people getting in. Though it does seem like someone is taking out the stained glass windows, we noticed a few that were gone on our second trip, and there was no evidence of vandalism like broken glass.

The stained glass is lovely. But, for some reason, the quite simplicity of # 6 really speaks to me.

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.
