| | | Exploring but mostly parkour accidents in abandoned places is a problem in my country. On youtube or other media kids gain hundreds, sometimes thousands of likes and encouragement to do something more dangerous. Also, "monkey see, monkey do" effect, there are many channels where some kids are trying to repeat everything, visit the same places, do the same, potentially deadly parkour tricks. Last year there were three lethal cases and one case of a serious spine injury. There might be twice as more deaths in such large countries as France or Germany, for example. Accidents can happen to anyone but i think that teenagers just doesn't have the "sense of limit" when it comes about adrenaline. I really do think that some kids who are "doing it wrong" on youtube, should have a lesson, they won't learn until something bad will happen or they will just...grow up and they will change the interest of exploring, probably. What's annoying, they claim "we are proffesionals, nothing bad will happen". That's dumb. Noone could be "pro" at exploring, nobody can predict that suddenly wall or ceiling can collapse.
