I have been making some 360 tours. Here is one of a train engine I hope you enjoy.

Once you click the link just click on the 3D objects to move around the train.

Click here to start 360 photo tour.

Very cool idea. I'd love to know how to do that.
One thing though, it's very hard to wrap my head around each 3D space when they're very small and the angles are distorted so much when you pan.

I used the link, it's cool as hell but looks way underexposed and/or contrast curve is off.

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

There are a number of options for making 360 photo tours in regard to software and cameras. The Holobuilder site which I used claims you can even take 360 photos with a smart phone, and use those pictures to make tours. There is also a site called youvisit which even has some 360 video capabilities.

That is because they are underexposed and i have no way of adjusting the exposure time. I had tried taking some 360 photos of another train at this location about week ago, earlier in the day. Unfortunately the glare produced by the sun made the photos unusable. This set was taken in the gloaming, and the shots are somewhat underexposed. I am thinking that mid day might be the best option for taking these types of pictures.
