I'm located in the east bay, tri-valley area, a a huge blank zone on the DB Map, something I want to change, I know a few places around here from photography shoots with friends, but want to discover more. Is there a lot of members out here?

It's a blank zone because there simply isn't much out here. There is a few places that isn't on the db that your welcome to try and explore. Gotta find them first though.

Problem with the Bay Area is that most abandoned buildings are demolished so contractors can build town houses or low income housing.

Honestly, regardless of the DB, the east bay is a hub for urban exploration. It really is a matter of doing research & going out and searching yourself.

I live in the tri-valley area and I know of quite a few places. However, these are draining spots, not abandoned buildings for I only really do draining. I would say there are around 5 ish draining spots that you can easily get to in the tri-valley and that are large enough to stand up in.

Here are a couple of the drains:

This one is crazy considering how tall it is for such a small creek. Look at the bike for perspective:

I've gotta agree that a lot of abandoned places in the Bay Area have been getting demolished pretty quick these days with the price of real estate going up. Treasure Island comes to mind.

Still, there are a lot of old military bases near the water and underground areas to explore.

There are still some classic easy areas to check out, but many of the much bigger structures--especially some of the military/naval structures, have been getting or are demolished
But it's such a big, changing place there's always new stuff being built and abandoned, like anywhere.
