I posted up my year review thread a week or so ago but in the thread I alluded that I may get out one more time this year - and I did.

Sadly it wasn't the epic bang to end the year like I hoped as we arrived nice and early to our target only to see the entire site lit up like the proverbial Christmas tree and a very visible security presence so we sacked that off so as not to risk any future ventures there.

Instead we headed down to the south coast and suffered a string of fails and set backs there too, so plugged in the two locations we had decided on as back up if all else fails explores and headed to them instead. The first was a former military training school situated right on the beach, I visited it early last year and it was wrecked then but in the following almost two years it's been even more battered. Still a nice relaxed wander with a lot of good graffiti and a few nice shots to be had.

After that adventure and a delicious lunch we headed to an old Lime quarry which has been closed for at least thirty years, although it now appears to be used infrequently as a motorcross/trials riding area. There are a few ramshackle buildings and a lot of old heavy plant machinery, trucks and a few cars left which are all super decayed. Because of the fading light we only got around about two thirds of the quarry so I need to go and finish it off when I'm next in the area.

Nice man, really digging some of the graffiti and of course the quarry is pretty sweet.
