| | | With another semester of school in full swing, I haven't done much traveling over the past few months. However, over the summer, I was able to do a fair amount of exploring; I finally made it down to MD/PA and checked out some places closer to home, in MA and VT. And, as the title would suggest, I ended up taking plenty of photos with my phone's camera . Big thanks to everyone who helped me out with info, particularly Essexplorer, Goat and Radical Ed. Most photos are from a state hospital in PA. All taken with my Samsung Galaxy s6. 1 Mdr01 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 2 Et001 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 3 Ep001 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 4 EhHall002 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 5 Ehbth002 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 6 Ntrck01 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 7 Ehdsk003 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 8 EhChr002 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 9 Ehwin001 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 10 Ml001 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 11 Ehfish001 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 12 Ehpl001 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 13 ESHext01 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 14 EhKt004 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 15 Cr001 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr Thanks for looking!

| | | Very nice. do you have more pictures of the courtyard from image 1? | Thank you; this was actually the hollowed-out central floor of a mill: 20160720_160321 by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr 20160720_160839 (2) by Sanitarium Sean, on Flickr You grabbed some nice images It's nice to explore without whoring around a ton of cam gear. The pitfall is living more for moment and less ability to capture images. Many times I went exploring with no way to record it... places long gone. Oops. | Thanks, and I definitely agree with that sentiment haha. I love my DSLR but it can be nice to occasionally forgo the camera bag and tripod. Regardless of what I'm using though, I've gotten into the habit of constantly taking snapshots purely for documentation. Happy to have helped, man. Your set turned out great! I like your composition. Cheers to the semester finally being over haha | Much appreciated, and cheers . Can't wait to get back down to MD/ PA. Nice one man! I think I tried to go here a year ago but had a parking fail and moved on to plan B. Hopefully we can meet up soon in the "Commonwealth" | Thanks, and I hope to see you sometime soon!

| | | Bits and pieces At one time it would have been so much more to explore... | Really is a shame that so much is gone, although it's still interesting in its own way. I'd love to return sometime and see if any other segments are accessible. Really enjoyed this dude. We need to get together again next year. | Thanks man, and yeah for sure! Hot dang, these are incredibly crisp photos. Really like the mill shots... subject matter, colors, composition. Would love to see this location in person one day. |
NICE!!!! You hit one of my favorite spots. |
Really like your photos! Especially the monochrome/B&W. SSean. What do you call this variation? Is is mono color, sepia blend? Makes for some lovely shots .... Tell me how you do it man!?! | Thanks you guys, much appreciated! Misunderstood, for the B&Ws I used the greyscale interface while shooting, and did a small amount of post-processing (minor straightening and white balance adjustments). I like the effect but I'm also eager to explore the on-board settings, which are surprisingly versatile.
