Jumping the gun a bit on this, but I don't think I'll be doing much exploring before the new year (maybe a bit around Christmas time, but we'll see) so here goes!

Started off 2016 by heading out to a local state park with a friend and taking a bunch of night shots and doing a little astrophotography.

In late March I got a tip from another photographer about some interesting abandoned houses in the area (it's like a little abandoned neighborhood - another place I plan to go back to sometime).

In April I actually got permission from a town up in NH to take photos of an abandoned school some family members mentioned to me. Two of these shots are in the local historical society now and my work was featured in the local paper.

And that was my year in a very large nutshell. It's been a pleasure to share some of my experiences with everyone here.

The rest of the year is mostly working and traveling and relaxing a bit with my family - then back at it in the new year!

Great shots! I especially love the "phokus" one. You've definitely been to some great locations. I'm not a huge fan of those diagonal shots in the middle, but I don't think I've ever seen a diagonal shot I liked.
