visited this hospital over the weekend. 7 floors of hell and pitch blackness. definitely need some heavy duty flashlights for this one! the only light and cameras we had were the shitty ones on our phones. can't wait to go back to explore the rest!

Pitch-black explores are exhilarating! Terrible for normal photography besides light painting and such, but such places give a "you REALLY shouldn't be here" kind of excitement.

Any more photos?

It was very exhilarating! We only went into a few of the rooms. I'm pretty sure they were radiograph rooms and a office looking room. We were only in there for about 20 minutes until we started to feel "not welcomed". I don't know if it was because we were not alone, or because the paranormal rumors are true! Haha but these are the only ones we took... so far!!

I honestly don't recommend exploring in the dark. You could very easily miss potential hazards such as sharp objects, unstable floors, or other hazards.

I've tried exploring in the dark once, in a location I knew was structurally sound (on the ground floor, at least). Despite having visited over a half a dozen times previously and knowing the layout well enough to draw a map from memory, I still tripped over stuff.

Urbexchick07, you made a great find. Just remember that you're not invincible.

"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.

I'm pretty sure I recognize that spot even in the dark. It's fun, def come back with flashlights, though. Even in the daylight those bottom two or so floors are pretty dark.

I won't disagree with you there. If a place can be explored in the light, then it's safer to do it then (and will generally produce better photos). More details and things will be visible too.

Some places will still be dark no matter what though.

I agree with you 100%! That definitely was going through my mind while inside.

It was super upsetting that I could not get any good pictures. The flashlights on our phone really didn't even help either. I would LOVE to go back - but am rethinking it. More people would be nice too.

You don't need "heavy duty flashlights" just go into survival mode.
